First of all, we would like to wish you a very Happy New Year. Thanks for making 2015 such a great year for us. We have big plans for 2016 with more exhibitions, new prints and special offers, and of course more of the incredible, amazing work by contemporary photographers, printmakers, film makers, and multi-media artists. You won’t want to miss an issue. Through the end of this weekend- Jan. 3rd- we have a subscription deal going that gives you a free issue (five issues for the price of four). Or you can double up and get two free issues (or ten for the price of eight) with a double subscription. and because subscriptions allow you to submit for no additional fee, it’s the perfect gift for you or any artist making resolutions to get your work out more this year. More experienced artists may find publication a great way to “test drive” new work, or give collectors a sneak peek at new work before it gets more visible exhibition time. Whatever your reason, we hope you will continue to support us and hare your beautiful work with our readers.
Now that Issue #11 is off to mailboxes, it’s time to start a new Call For Entries for issue #12, coming out in April. We are looking for photographs, prints, collages, experimental video and film work, and performances and mixed media work that incorporates photographic or printed work. Digital work is also accepted, but know that we look for art work that relies on and emphasizes the hand of the artist. There is no there. We want a variety of subject matter, styles, and media. The due date for the April issue is Feb. 29th.
