First, we would like to encourage you to get a copy of Issue #15 before it sells out- it is coming dangerously close to doing that- probably just 20 or 30 copies are left! This issue features the fantastic, imaginary worlds of Kahn & Selesnick and an interview with Nicholas Kahn. Issue 15 also features several images and an interview with printmaker Johnny Adimando. Adimando’s work brings together mixed media, installation and traditional printmaking to create works that address themes of spirituality, existence, and communication.

We would also like to encourage you to take advantage of our HOLIDAY SUBSCRIPTION OFFER. Now through Jan. 1st, each subscription includes a free issue. Subscribers can also submit to each issue for no additional charge. As an added bonus, each subscriber gets a free hand made print from us on our birthday in July. So take advantage of that now. There are just a handful of days left.

We would like to thank our readers and contributors for making 2016 a banner year at The Hand! We are so grateful to all of the artists who have contributed work to the 2016 issues. Every one of them was well received by readers, and we have heard a lot of comments that The Hand is becoming a favorite source of contemporary printmaking, photography, and collage.

We are excited to about 2017 as well. We already have some very exciting announcement that we are almost ready to be able to make. We don’t want to jinx anything before it’s set in stone, but we have some very cool things planned for this coming year. But it doesn’t hurt to tease you a little does it? So stay tuned for that!

Thanks again for your support! We’ll see you again very soon! Happy New Year!!,

Adam Finkelston & James Meara
