Mudras, New Call for Entries and Collaborative Prints!
Issue 17 is out to your mailbox!
We are glad to say that all orders of Issue 17 are out to mailboxes. If you haven’t ordered one yet, do it HERE. We’ve had to increase the number of copies we order (that’s a good thing!), and we still are down to less than 50 copies of this issue left. We keep growing, thanks to your help and word of mouth. Thanks so much!!
Because Issue 17 is our 4th anniversary edition, we are celebrating and thanking our subscribers by giving out unique hand made prints. Each subscriber is encouraged to use those prints to create a collaborative piece, then share that image with us. We’ll post the collaborative image on our website and social media with a link to your website (if you have one!). Look HERE to see some of the collaborations from last year’s print.
The Mudras exhibition at Leedy-Voulkos Art Center was a huge success. There were several thousand people out at Kansas City’s First Friday event that evening, so we had a steady stream of gallery visitors all night. Thanks to all of the artists who contributed. The show is up through August 26th, with another reception on the First Friday of August (Aug. 4th). We hope to see you there. You can also see all of the images from the exhibition HERE. Please contact Erin Woodworth at Leedy-Voulkos Art Center to inquire about purchasing any of the prints.
Also, we have rearranged our website, with a new single page for limited edition prints, exhibition info, merchandise and our Holding Hands Across The World promotion. Check out all the fun stuff we have there by clicking HERE.
And finally, our next deadline for submissions for the October issue is August 31st. Hopefully you’ve had a productive summer and can get some great submissions ready for our fall issue. Check out our SUBMISSIONS PAGE for more information.
Thanks for your time and continued support for The Hand! Please don’t ever hesitate to ask us anything or give us feedback. We are always trying to keep The Hand fresh and new, while inspiring you with the best contemporary prints and photographs from around the world. Thanks!
