We are very pleased to announce that our next due date for entries is Feb. 28th. Issue 16 will also serve as an exhibition catalog for “Mudras”, with all images included in the exhibition, plus many others selected for publication only. “Mudras” will take place in July and August in our hometown, Kansas City!! After exhibitions in St. Joseph, MO, Knoxville, TN, and Albuquerque, NM, we are thrilled to finally hold an exhibition in good ol’ KC! Kansas City has one of the hottest and burgeoning arts scenes in the nation, with thousands of people flooding the Crossroads District on the First Friday of each month for dozens of galleries, all types of food, performers, and other entertainments. “Mudras” will be hosted by one of the Crossroads District’s anchor tenants, The Leedy-Voulkos Art Center. “The Leedy”, as the locals call it, has been a beacon for the arts in Kansas City since 1985. We are proud to present the amazing work contributed by artists to The Hand, and to bring the very best in contemporary reproduction-based arts to our fair city.

So get started on those submissions! Subscribe, check out our BACK ISSUES, and  SPREAD THE WORD!! Namaste!
